A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Zuravleff obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He also holds a Master of Science from Pitt’s School of Public Health. After completing his residency at Duke University Medical Center, he was Board certified in 1991. For ten years, he led the oculoplastic and orbital surgery service at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. In addition, he has served as an Instructor of residents at the McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond. Today, he continues as a consultant surgeon for the MCV/VCU Department of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery. Dr. Zuravleff has enjoyed lecturing nationally and internationally and has contributed to numerous medical publications. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and of state and national medical societies.
Dr. Zuravleff lives on an historic farm in Hanover County with his wife, Lynn, and many beloved pets. He enjoys gardening and is an avid sportsman.
